How 5999Cargo Group collects, uses, shares, and protects information used for delivery operations.

Last updated: August 24, 2026

1. Information we collect

We may collect account and contact details; sender and recipient names, addresses, phone numbers, and emails; package descriptions and identifiers; tracking events; delivery instructions; driver and device location used for an active delivery; proof-of-delivery photos, signatures, scans, and timestamps; support communications; billing records and payment metadata; and technical website data such as IP address, browser, logs, cookies, and analytics events.

We do not receive or store complete card numbers when payment information is entered directly with a payment processor.

2. How we use information

We use information to quote and provide services, validate coverage, coordinate drivers and recipients, display tracking, document delivery outcomes, process payments and refunds, prevent fraud and misuse, provide support, improve reliability, and comply with tax, legal, safety, and recordkeeping obligations.

3. Legal bases

Depending on the relationship and applicable law, processing is based on contract performance, steps requested before a contract, legal obligations, legitimate operational and security interests, and consent where required.

4. Sharing

Information may be shared with drivers, delivery partners, senders and recipients, payment processors including Stripe when enabled, hosting, email, analytics and support vendors, insurers and professional advisers, and government authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information.

5. Tracking and proof of delivery

Public tracking is limited to information reasonably needed to identify status and delivery progress. Proof-of-delivery evidence may be shared with authorized shipment parties to resolve delivery questions, claims, fraud, or compliance requirements.

6. Retention and security

Records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for delivery operations, support, disputes, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized when appropriate. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

7. International transfers

Delivery and technology providers may process information in countries other than the customer’s location. We use reasonable contractual and operational safeguards where required.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability. Some records may be retained where required for contracts, claims, fraud prevention, or law. Send requests to info@5999cargo.com.

9. Cookies, children, and updates

We may use necessary cookies and limited analytics to operate and improve the website. The service is not directed to children. We may update this policy as our services, providers, or legal duties change; the current version and update date will remain published here.
